Data Retention
Retention and deletion depend on workflow scope and customer obligations.
Evidence-sensitive records often have retention requirements outside the software vendor's control. TARE's retention and deletion review should be scoped against customer contracts, legal holds, backups, exports, and regulated workflow requirements.
Account and lab data
Account data, workspace membership, lab records, attachments, exports, and audit history should be retained according to the active contract, customer configuration, and applicable evidence or quality-system expectations.
- Account profile data
- Workspace membership
- Lab records
- Attachments
- Audit history
- Signed exports
Deletion request flow
Deletion requests should be routed through support or the customer's administrator. Requests may be limited by legal hold, audit retention, backup windows, regulatory obligations, or customer export requirements.
- Admin/support request
- Customer export before deletion
- Backup retention caveat
- Legal hold caveat
- Audit retention caveat
