Inviting Users
Invite teammates, choose roles, and recover when an invitation expires.
Invitations should match the work a person actually needs to do. Use the lowest role that lets them complete their task, then expand access through an admin when needed.
- Open Settings and choose the user or members area for your workspace.
- Enter the teammate email address exactly as they use it for work.
- Select a role: Viewer for read-only review, Chemist for operator work, Admin for workspace operations, or Owner for billing and role governance.
- Send the invitation and ask the recipient to complete email OTP and MFA setup from the invite link.
- If the invite expires, revoke or resend it from the same workspace instead of creating a second account.
Role check
Owner and Admin can manage users. Viewer should not be able to mutate inventory, SOPs, cases, samples, custody, or billing.
Recovery rule
Do not bypass the invite flow by sharing credentials or manually issuing OTP codes. Use the expired-invite and OTP recovery steps so membership, RBAC, and audit records stay aligned.
