Common Errors

Solutions to frequent login, hardware, and network issues.

Most issues can be resolved quickly without contacting support. Here are the most common problems users encounter.

"Magic Link Expired"

Login links are one-time use and expire after 15 minutes. If you see this error, simply request a new link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive instantly.

"Network Request Failed"

This usually indicates a corporate firewall blocking our API. Ask your IT team to whitelist *.tareops.com and *.supabase.co.

"Printer Not Found"

Ensure the DYMO/Zebra web service is running on your local machine. You should see a small printer icon in your system tray. Restarting the service often fixes connectivity.

"AI suggestions are unavailable right now"

Inventory, locations, notebook, and scan workflows should continue without AI suggestions. Fill the required fields manually and retry Ask TARE after checking the AI key/provider status in Settings.

"Unexpected error while finalizing inventory scan intake"

TARE keeps the created inventory item and exposes a retry button for evidence finalization. Use the retry action before creating a duplicate record.
