Audit Logs
Immutable tracking of who did what and when for FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
Every action in TARE—from creating an experiment to viewing a sensitive document—is logged in an immutable, append-only ledger.
Log Structure
Each audit entry contains a comprehensive snapshot of the event context:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Actor | User ID and Email of the person performing the action. |
| Action | CREATE, UPDATE, DELETE, or VIEW. |
| Resource | The specific item or record ID affected. |
| Metadata | IP Address, User Agent, and Geo-location. |
| Diff | JSON patch showing prev_value vs new_value. |
Accessing Logs
Admins can search and filter logs in Settings > Compliance. Logs are retained for 7 years by default on Enterprise plans.
